Hitched back down to Grand Lake, CO. Felt inspired to walk around town and check out the local stores. A guy picked a conversation with me when he saw me walking by, said he could tell I was a thru-hiker when he got a look at my calves. He invited me to his home to take a shower and spend the night. It was another rainy day so I was stoked for the offer!
We met up in the plaza and I met some of his friends who were visiting. His friends drove us back to Granby and he showed me his spare room. He went to a concert, while I knocked out around 5pm. I woke up the next day in the early afternoon. Apparently, my body needed the rest!
