I woke up at 1 am with the girls to watch the Northern lights. Second night in a row and still didn’t see anything. Apparently, we couldn’t see them with the naked eye and had to be captured via camera lens.
Then, I had a sex dream about Zane. Well, not really. I was hoping I would but then I woke up. In the dream he had come to a party alone and said “hello” to me with a very inviting smile. I made it into a big thing. It’s probably because in real life I told Paramour how weird it must be for him to be written about when we hadn’t went as far as even saying “hello” to one another.
I felt like going on a hike so Oscar suggested a nice trail that led to the airport. The other day he gave me a ride to town and it was the first time we were one on one.
“What do you really write about?” he asked.
He sensed I was a freaky girl hiding behind a church girl mask. I admitted it to him.
“I knew it,” he said, but promised to keep it to himself.
Now he knew why I was so quiet and distanced. He’s the only one here that knows the things I crave. Maybe he even knows what I think about. He’s not my type per se, but I flirt with him all of the time and would let him fuck me if he made a bolder move on me.
“Are you coming back next year?” he asked.
I shook my head no real slow, as if insinuating, ‘Better make a move on me while you still can.’
“I can’t wait that long,” he said.
“Mm, you and me both. I’m impatient.”
He would bring up anything that had a sexual tone or topic to it, just as I would entertain it.
I hiked the trail he suggested, starting at Moose Lane then going behind someone’s property and towards the airport. I mean, it was nice for maybe .2 miles, but the last couple of miles were dirt roads. Still beautiful, but I was ready to climb mountains at this point.
Then, I hung out with Ford. He bought us a lemon loaf cake and we ate it by the dock while we watched the waves and I drew squiggles in the sand. Afterwards, we went on a barefoot walk alongside the ocean then we went out for dinner at the Inn.
His car broke down on the way there, which I naturally found hysterical so we just walked the rest of the way there. I think we got the best seat in the house—outside with a view of the open field. We ordered chicken then he made fun of me because I couldn’t pronounce the word prosciutto. He was fascinated by how my brain worked and how I would interpret language.
I ordered mousse dessert. I figured I wouldn’t like it so I offered it to Ford, but I ended up loving it.
“I’ll only eat a little and give you the rest,” I said.
I turned around when I heard people singing Happy Birthday then when I turned back I noticed my dessert was now somehow 70% gone.
“Oh, no!” I said, “I’m so sorry, Ford! I ate most of the dessert!“
He laughed to the point of tears as I grabbed another forkful.
“Freyja,” he said, “I switched mine with yours and you are apologizing!”
I laughed, my teeth laced with thick, dark chocolate. He switched it back and I go, “Oh, that makes sense as to why it was so neatly eaten.”
As fate had it, we ran into Avon and his girl while we were sitting by the fire. They gave Ford a ride back to his place and me a ride back to Moose Lane. There, I ran into Paramour and Badger as they had just finished hiking the Excursion Ridge trail. They were all tan and beat up, having spent a few days there.
We all hung out on the porch outside and I stole them some food.
“I can’t believe how good you eat here,” Paramour said.
“I can’t believe it, either.”
I loved seeing my friends, although I definitely took it a bit personally that they didn’t invite me on the hike. As I write that, I received the message, ‘If it didn’t occur, it wasn’t meant to be.’ I received that same insight when I was on my walk earlier, momentarily getting nervous about how I’d be getting to Africa, and then this calmness came over me, reminding me not to worry because that only took me down a train of thoughts that led me know where.
We parted ways. Kaden reached out and insisted we video call. I told him he was boring to talk to because he didn’t say much. Still, I was horny and figured I’d flirt with him. We laughed about the blog.
“I feel like you love the hate you receive,” he said.
“I kind of do,” I agreed.
“You are actually dangerous,” he said, then proceeds to tell me that all of the people I had sex with had bad shit happen to them. “Russ and Mason got fired. All hell broke loose with Sheldon.”
I laughed and laughed.
“Shit went wrong with all these men because they can’t handle your power,” he said.
No, shit went apparently wrong because they gave me the power rather than claiming their own.
Then, I watched Kaden jerk off until he came. I had to be a silent slut because Jasmine was sleeping right next to me. At least Kaden had that going for him—that he liked being watched jerking it. V never gave me that pleasure.
