Mount Lemmon to Gila River Trailhead: Watched It’s Always Sunny with Brendan. We watched the “D.E.N.N.I.S. System” and he made one for me called the “G.O.D.A. System”:

LOL. I don’t feel that’s the case with me, but it’s funny receiving that sort of perception; helps me learn how to laugh at the apparent habits I seem to have.
I got a ride by a sweet couple who took me all the way from Silver City back to Tucson. It was healing to witness a couple who had been married for over 25 years in such a loving marriage. I noticed how they still did little things for one another, such as touching each other gently when asking a question and giving little pecks throughout the car ride. They bought me a meal, took a photo with me at a rest stop and dropped me off in Tuscon where my friend Dirk picked me up.
He took me up Mount Lemmon to continue my hike and gifted me a bunch of stuff to help me along, including some pocket knives! We stopped along the HWY to check out some scenic spots before we parted.
Made it to Summer Haven and had the best fudge in my entire life, no exaggeration. Then, I got some awesome resupply items in the hiker box, including brand new socks! I ran into Pretty Boy so we caught up as he ate the rest of my leftover cinnamon balls from Taco Bell. I invited him to camp with me so we trekked a few more miles together as the fields began to glow with a golden hue. We cowboy camped beside one another as he cold-soaked coos coos mixed with garlic flavored olive oil and wasabi soy almonds.
Woke up to my hip belt being shredded by rodents, the straps on my trekking poles eaten up and my socks stolen. 🤣 I gave props to the rodents because I slept with everything very close to me, but they came in like ninjas!
Met a guy who gave me weed and grapefruits. I still don’t smoke but started accepting it to give it away to other hikers.
